GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1. These Terms establish the conditions governing the Rental of Spaces contracted by the Client with Quinta do Amor, located at Quinta da Ramada, Casais da Serra – Estrada Nacional 379-1 CCI, Postal Code 2925-318 – São Lourenço.
1.2. Any particular conditions associated with the provision of other services by the company and contracted with the client shall prevail over these terms.
1.3. These terms are also subject to any other conditions mutually agreed upon and communicated in writing between the company and the client.
1.4. If extraordinary conditions for space rental not expressed in these terms are stipulated between the company and the client, these will be considered exceptional and will not set a precedent for future space rental contracts.
1.5. The rental of spaces for events is conducted exclusively through our channels, such as the website, email, telephone, social media, or in person on the property.
1.6. We are not responsible for any rentals offered or conducted through means other than those listed in the previous clause.
1.7. Rental requests are considered provisional until payment conditions are met and the rental is confirmed in writing.
1.8. The client is responsible for informing us in a timely manner of the total number of attendees expected for their event.
1.9. By contracting one or more services with the company, the client accepts these terms and any applicable particular conditions.
2. SPACES
2.1. The following spaces are available for rent:

2.1.2. Main House "Quinta"
2.2. Occasionally, spaces other than those mentioned may be made available with management approval.
2.3. Visitor limits for the spaces are as follows:
Barn – cocktail : 200 ; sitting : 80 ; workshop : 30
Main House "Quinta" : 22
2.4. Regardless of the rented space, free parking spaces are provided to clients and
visitors within the property, subject to capacity limits.
2.5. All spaces will be made available to the client in clean and hygienic conditions, and the client is obliged to return the rented space(s) in the same condition as provided.
2.5.1. Depending on the contracted service, a fee may be charged for cleaning the rented space.
3. EVENT TYPES
3.1. Currently, the client may organize two types of events, either separately or together:
3.1.1. Parties and Meals, which include events with food and beverages such as but not limited to: children's parties, birthday parties, weddings, lunches, or dinners.
3.1.2. Gatherings and Meetings, which include more formal events such as but not limited to: presentations, meetings, team-building sessions, networking events, or workshops
3.2. At the time of the rental request, the client is responsible for informing us of the type of event to be held. Failure to do so may result in the immediate termination of the event if the space is used for purposes not foreseen or contracted.
4. AVAILABILITY
4.1. Check-in is at 2pm. Check-out is at 11am. If you rent the Barn only, you get access to it between 8am and 7pm unless decided otherwise.
4.2. Additional hours may be added upon prior request and subject to availability.
4.3. Spaces are available for the days and times as mentioned on the invoice.
4.4. Occasionally, rentals may be available on days not mentioned above (4.1), subject to availability and management approval.
5. SUSTAINABILITY
The use of disposable plates, cups, cutlery, balloons, and single-use plastics is discouraged by Quinta do Amor as it may damage the spaces. Waste separation for recycling is recommended regardless of the rented space or event type, and appropriate bins are provided for this purpose.
6. PAYMENTS
6.1. The rental price for the space is as per the budget approved by the client.
6.2. After the contracted period, an additional fee of 100€ per hour will be charged, subject to the availability outlined in Clause 4.
6.3. Pool rental does not include a supervisor. Supervising minors is the sole responsibility of their guardians.
6.4. Specific pricing may apply for space rentals during holidays, national or regional events, New Year, Christmas, or school vacations.
6.5. All prices include VAT at the applicable legal rate.
6.6. A rental is considered confirmed after payment of 30% of the final rental agreed amount. Another 70% must be paid no later than 60 (sixty) days before the event date.
6.6.1. A deposit (1000€ for the Barn or 2000€ for the whole venue) must be paid via bank transfer 7 (seven) days before the event date. The deposit will be refunded within 72 hours after the event, provided all contractual terms are met.
6.6.2 Rentals totaling less than €2,500 must be paid in full to secure the booking.

6.8. All prices are in Euros (€), and all payments must be made in this currency.
6.9. While banks or payment processors may accept payments in other currencies, we are not responsible for any fees, charges, or costs related to currency exchange or payment services.
7. CANCELLATION
7.1. Cancellations up to 180 days before the start of the service incur a 500€ administrative fee.
7.2. Cancellations up to 60 days before the start of the service will incur a 30% fee of the agreed amount, with the remaining balance refunded to the client.
7.3. Cancellations up to 30 days before the start of the service will incur a 60% fee of the agreed amount, with the remaining balance refunded to the client.
7.4. Cancellations 30 days or less before the start of the service result in no refund.
7.5. Once the rented space is in use, no refund will be given for unused spaces or services.
7.6. If the company cancels a confirmed rental for reasons not attributable to the client, all amounts paid will be refunded.
7.7. The company reserves the right to cancel rentals for non-compliance with payment terms, without refunding any amounts already paid.
8. ADDITIONAL SERVICES
8.1. In addition to the rental of space(s), the company may provide the client with items such as, but not limited to: tables, chairs, sofas, plates, glasses, and cutlery. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that visitors use and maintain the items provided in the same condition as when made available.
8.2. To facilitate organizational logistics for the client, access to the kitchen area may be provided, including the use of a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven and other machines.
